_ FC4 で GV-MVP/RX と GV-MVP/RX2W の2枚挿しによる、3番組同時録画に挑戦

使用したドライバ
ivtv-0.2.0rc3j_paken.051002-matchy2.src.rpm

ivtv-cards.c に RX2W のエントリが記載されていることを確認済。

/etc/modprobe.conf

options ivtv tuner=46

tuner=44 で指定してあるサイトも見受けられますが、Tuner=46 で TV視聴確認済。

$ ptune-ui.pl --freqtable ntsc-bcast-jp --input /dev/video0 &
$ cat /dev/video0 | mplayer -

で、TV視聴を確認

$ /usr/bin/record-v4l2.pl -d /dev/video0 -c 9 -t 30 -i 6 -f ntsc-bcast-jp --output-settings 0 --directory-format "" -o test.mpg

/dev/video0 での録画に成功

$ /usr/bin/record-v4l2.pl -d /dev/video1 -c 9 -t 30 -i 6 -f ntsc-bcast-jp --output-settings 0 --directory-format "" -o test.mpg

/dev/video1 では砂嵐が録画されている

$ /usr/bin/record-v4l2.pl -d /dev/video2 -c 9 -t 30 -i 6 -f ntsc-bcast-jp --output-settings 0 --directory-format "" -o test.mpg

/dev/video2 でも砂嵐が録画されている

さてさて、これはいったい...

肝は /etc/modprobe.conf の記述だけでした。

/etc/modprobe.conf

alias char-major-81-2 ivtv
options ivtv tuner=46,46,46

と記述します。これで、

$ /usr/bin/record-v4l2.pl -d /dev/video0 -c 48 -t 30 -i 6 -f ntsc-bcast-jp --output-settings 0 --directory-format "" -o 48ch.mpg
$ /usr/bin/record-v4l2.pl -d /dev/video1 -c 42 -t 30 -i 6 -f ntsc-bcast-jp --output-settings 0 --directory-format "" -o 42ch.mpg
$ /usr/bin/record-v4l2.pl -d /dev/video2 -c 50 -t 30 -i 6 -f ntsc-bcast-jp --output-settings 0 --directory-format "" -o 50ch.mpg

のように、3番組同時に録画できます。

蛇足ながら、FC4 では ASUS Terminator P4 533 の ビデオドライバ sis_drv.o を入れ替えなくても、
最初から xv に対応しているので便利ですな。
